Intro
Compact but powerful, the A.I.M. Customisation Project, compatible with all other I.M.P & A.I.M workshop merc mods, is designed to fully customise A.I.M. starting level & perks, equipment & gear, portrait & 3d appearance, voice & response and more function in future. Further combo with “Merc-InGame-Editor” can achieve a full range of highly customised of all in-game A.I.M. & 3rd party MERC mods.

Portraits & 3D Appearances Cosplay
“Those workshop Merc mods are awesome! I wish Kalyna could cosplay their portraits and 3d models! Also, if I could cosplay Corazon Santiago or Emma…XD”

Mod option: A.I.M. Cosplay Customisation
Cosplay your favourite A.I.M. & NPC characters (both portraits and 3D appearances).
Note: Some choices may require 3rd party Merc mod.

Starting Level & Perks
“I don’t like Raven’s and Meltdown’s starting perks! I just wish I can hire them from level 1 then grow up to be my desired build!”

Mod option: A.I.M. Starting Level = 1
If "ON", all A.I.M. initial "Starting Level" becomes level 1.
Useful if you do not like the A.I.M. initial fixed perks, and wish to level them up from lvl 1 to lvl 10 at your desired build.
Note: Turn on this option will also remove all A.I.M. NON-personal perks from [Perk Tree] (i.e. only blue & green perks are kept).

Starting equipment & gear
“How come my A.I.M. only has a crap pistol landing on the first island! I need better guns!”

Mod option: A.I.M. Tactical Starting Gear
If "ON", all A.I.M. initial "Starting Gear" is redesigned based on personal perks.
(A.I.M. special personal items NOT affected by this option)
Note: Change this mod option requires a RESTART of the JA3 program completely and start a NEW game to take effect..

Tactical Voice Response
“I wish Mouse could also have a sexy voice like Fox!”

Mod option: A.I.M. Voice Response Imitation
If "ON", the cosplay of other A.I.M. will also include the imitation of tactical voice response. The imitation is only limited to A.I.M. "tactical voice response" (i.e. story or script banter voices are not affected).

FUTURE PLAN
  • This mod will keep supporting more highly rated 3rd party workshop MERC mods
  • The A.I.M customisation options & choices will be more diversified
  • Support JA3 future updates and DLCs

Notes: *A.I.M. Cosplay Customisation option choices can be switched in the middle of a game; after altering the choices please load your save to take effect.

This mod is save-game & localisation friendly and 99% compatible with almost any mods.

All the options seem to be to change the mercs. Is there no way to apply this to IMPs?

u should check out the etruskik reskill mod (looks like a sand hourglas) i have several aim where i think the given perks r not optimize and you only get 1 point for each level (so if sb joins at a high lv like the gold member you only have 2-3 free skill points)

so ur mod give really a good option additional to that "cheat", anyways i use some none vanilla mercs (mike, jaxx and a remodded fox version) so my question is it possible with this mod to reduce them to lv 1 as well (in the furture)?

@p6kocka In JA3 engine : "the clothes" and "the appearance" are built in one "Model". Unless you know how to use 'In-Game Mod Editor" to edit that "Model" then you could customise its head model, body model, accessories, etc. Otherwise, the "Model" is fixed and assigned to each A.I.M. \ NPC \ 3rd party Merc's ID i.e. you can only COSPLAY their already designed 'Model' without the mod editor.:estusfull:

Wouldn't it be possible to change the clothes only not the whole appearance? I mean is it even possible to do it?

@SgtoPereira>>> This mod only customises A.I.M but not touching any I.M.P. function at all so it should be compatible. e.g. using this mod together with 'Custom Settings' (unlock multi-imp) & 'Make IMP Great Again Remastered' (customise imp) is 100% compatible in the test.
Or, do you also wish to fully customise your I.M.P as well? I.M.P. customisation function will be updated with Make IMP Great Again Remastered , so this mod is only designed for A.I.M. Hope it helps you :) :JA3dogtag:

Hello. Can the Mods "multi-imp (create multiple imp mercs)" and "No tactical perk limit" be used in conjunction with your Mod or are they "already" "inserted" in your Mod? I use these two Mods mentioned, but I am unable to use your Mod, even following the instructions in your video. Thanks.

Wow, more customization and options is always welcome, and this is some really cool stuff, thanks LionCat! (I am also having a sneak peek into the code, this gives me some ideas for the future :) )
