Mods That Get the Nod

描述

A mod that helps you find your sub.

Whenever you are outside your sub, an icon will appear in the direction of your sub. This helps you find your way back.

You can toggle it on or off with "fs" in the console. You can also type "find" or "findsub".

It does not work in PvP at all. I am not trying to give players an unfair advantage against each other, only help with campaign and other modes.

This mod requires clientside lua to work. How to install client side lua:

Installing Client-side Lua

Open hosting menu
Select LuaForBarotrauma in ServerExecutable and host a server
While hosting, open the console window (most commonly 'F3')
Type in or copy, then execute the console command:
install_cl_lua
Restart the game

Post a screenshot of any errors you get (F3 to open console). This discord is mainly for my Blueprints mod, but I have a section for other mods there.

To echo what @kenanthebarbarian said, this mod is... buggy to say the least. ESPECIALLY in the sub editor. It absolutely FLOODS the console with the same script error, enough to bog the game down in the wire mode. Useful, but it needs some TLC.

Kenan can you post a screenshot of the errors you are getting in my blueprints discord? I haven't maintained this one in a while. Hit F3 to open up console.

Love this mod, but it seems to throw errors and crash a lot and requires I reload Lua frequently. Not a huge hassle; just thought you should know.

I changed it so it doesn't work at all in pvp now. No unfair advantages vs other players.

It is clientside. If you have clientside lua installed it will work even on vanilla servers.
