Map Description:
8 Player Map about Alam el Halfa near El Alamein. The 15. Panzer Division of the German Afrika Korbs made an advance between the Alam-el-halfa ridge and the Dier-el-agram ridge, with the aim of encircling El Alamein in a pincer movement. The 133rd and 131st Brigades, as well as the 10. Armoured Brigade of the Commonwealth set up fortifications along the main road in advance to prevent a flank across the Alam-el-Halfa ridge and were additionally supported by the 8. Armoured Brigade from the east.

Alam el Halfa was made by TheSphinx for the CoH Worldbuilders 2024 Mapping Competition. Open submissions closed 15 January 2024 with results revealed 18 April 2024. Community members such as top players, streamers, mappers, and even professionals served as judges. Due to the anonymous nature of the competition, GBPirate uploaded all maps to the Workshop on behalf of the contestants.

You should probably play the live version of the map! It's virtually the same and shouldn't have any bugs.

crashed 2 times in a row on this map. only other mod is advanced ai

Hey folks, thank you for reporting the crashes. When exactly does this happen; right at launch or sometime during your game?

The best thing would be to leave replays in the CoH Worldbuilders Discord in this map's channel, so I and the mapper can take a look at them and see if there's a common issue!
