Primogeniture in High Medieval Era

描述
Made this because I didn't like any other mod that provides earlier Primogeniture on the Workshop. I wanted to make one that is based on vanilla-friendly balanced experience.

PIHME is a simple mod, making following changes to innovations:

- Hereditary Rule moved to Tribal Era, merged with Gavelkind

- Heraldry moved to Early Medieval Era

- Primogeniture moved to High Medieval Era

- New innovation: "Statecraft" in Late Medieval Era that improves vassals' opinion of their ruler and each other, which should make late game kingdoms a bit more stable. This includes AI kingdoms as well

COMPATIBILITY

It's not compatible with any mods that change succession laws or basic innovations. Mods that change only culture-specific innovations are fine.

Let me know if you see anything not working as intended

UPDATE: Opinion improvement from Statecraft increased to +20

UPDATE 2: Innovation icons' changes to not repeat within the same era

@Horse Thanks, for letting me know, I didn't notice it. Domain limit should work properly now

I tested it, even if I only use this mod, every AI including the player, can only have a maximum of 2 Domain. For example, if i would have 5 domain limit though Tech and Stewardship, it would automatically lower it to 2.

When I use this mod, i can have a maximum of 2 demesne. anyone knows a fix?

For some reason when I use this mod, the AI switches to appointment succession in feudal realms somehow.

I'm not familiar with succession expanded but it sounds like it isn't compatible with my mod. The thing is that in game it's not really innovations that unlock succesion laws for you, but the succesion laws script runs a check for innovations you have.

So if succession expanded changes succesion laws (which sounds pretty obvious that it does), it won't be compatible with my mod. Try disabling it and let me know if it works

@Fiodor Kiryłow it still doesn't work even when I move the mod order. When I try to change succession rules, it's said "The French culture does not have the Heraldry innovation." And yeah, I do used other mods like succesion expanded, testament, ect, but other than succession expanded and this mod, I don't think I have another mod that changes succession system.

That's weird. I've literally played as West Francia with both Culture Expanded and my mod and I haven't had any issues. Do you use other mods?

Maybe try moving mods around in your playset list. Culture Expanded should be higher on the list so it loads first, and my mod should be placed after it

@Fiodor Kiryłow idk bro, the mod did change the innovations, but I can't still use partition in 867. While my culture (French) had the Hereditary Rule innovation , when I try to change the succession rules, it just said that I can't use it because I don't have the traditions???
