FGC Serie 111

Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya's 111 series, built by MACOSA & MTM, provided service on the Barcelona-Vallès line between 1983 and 2015. They were the first trains purchased by FGC, in a joint order with those of the 211 metric gauge series for the Llobregat-Anoia line, and were the first step in the complete renovation of the rolling stock, quite aged at that time.
