GreyWolf class Medium Destroyer

The GreyWolf is a Medium destroyer and is a peer of the Decurion class. While the Decurion is intended to use it's variety of weapons to deal with various targets from corvettes, frigates, carriers and other destroyers. The GreyWolf on the other hand is intended to deal with other destroyers, carriers, cruisers and larger ships by operating in packs. Enabling the ship to fufill this purpose the ship features a larger main battery, more armor and stronger shields than its contemporary. The GreyWolf is just over 400 meters in length and has a jump range of over 950km.

The GreyWolf class is survival capable, Pressurized and has basic manufacturing facilities, excluding refineries.

Armament 28 480mm Cannons, 16 Hydra Rocket Launchers, 38 240mm Cannons, 44 Spartan Plasma Cannons, 38 Flechette Launchers. This armament allows the GreyWolf to overpower similarly sized ships in head to head combat, using disrupter munitions and plasma cannons to strip shields off of targets before pummeling them with heavy guns. A trio of GreyWolves can overpower a single Legionaire.

Defense 32 Oculus PD lasers, to shoot down incoming missiles and rockets. 6 Fully upgraded large shield generators and 1 layer of light armor followed by 1 layer of heavy armor. Critical Systems gain an additional layer of Heavy armor, systems include CIC, Medbay, Reactor, Fuel Storage, Magazines.

The resulting characteristics designate the GreyWolf as a brawler class destroyer using its heavy firepower and additional defense to crush enemies.
