Scenario: Robot Revolution

描述
The Jan 2024 challenge available to play as a scenario (generated from a fixed Tilted Axis map script) as well as the challenge map playable with settings of your choice incl. difficulty, modes and city states.

Robot Revolution Challenge
Do you have what it takes to ensure your civilization's survival for 100 turns in a frozen, post-nuclear future? Resources are sparse, disasters are intense, and the land itself seems determined to snuff out the last traces of humanity. Oh, and did we mention the robots?

Your memory of life before the robot takeover is fading, but parts of the world are still known to you. As the Prime Minister of Canada, will you scour the frozen wasteland for resources and remnants of the old world, or hunker down in your only remaining city and hope to outlast your opponents?

Instructions
Scenario
  1. Choose Single Player -> Scenarios
  2. Pick "Robot Revolution"
  3. Choose leader and difficulty.
  4. Start
Map
  1. Select map "Robot Revolution"
  2. Choose Disaster Intensity of 4 (or Apocalypse mode)
  3. Go to Advanced Settings
  4. Select Information Age for start era.
  5. Choose custom turns. Set it to 100.

Hey, totally fair if you say no, but would you be able to tell me how you managed to get this working? I have some experience screwing around with Civ game files but I don't know how you could make this show up in the Scenarios menu. I want to do this with a few of the other challenges, especially now that they are limiting the time to a week!

@MeniliteZ Yeah, soz. The challenge map itself is busted. People have been complaining excavations can cause a bug. Also there is no regrowth of burnt woods. (Also Civ VI's Tilted Axis map is broken - did you notice the rhomboid ice shelf?)

So there was no point using that map for the scenario. I used a fixed map script I already developed a couple of years ago.

@MeniliteZ Yes. The scenario uses a map script.
If you want to play the challenge map see instructions. (It's the same map).

I'm getting a different map every time I start the Scenario. Is this the way its supposed to work?
