Map Name: Zipper [en.wikipedia.org]
Difficulty: Medium
Version: 1.06
Development Time: 10/29, 11/09, 12/23 to 01/09
Secrets: 1

First map of 2024! I'm a big fan of track platforms, so making this was fun. Combine that with wanting to make a laser map for a while, and I am happy with this! Development was interesting to. Making the map was quite slow at first but picked up quickly by the end. Was surprising, but welcome!

Rules:
-Timing is required, but is forgiving and never tight. However, make sure to save!
-No difficult to execute moves are needed. No cube tossing, no tight angles, no shooting at a sliver of portal-able surface, etc.

Thanks to the following:
-Dark Rozen for test-testing, feedback,
and modified items.
-Narkodes for making the track platform portal magnets functional.
-One of my amigos who made the background music
-Aneonen and Steemstream for general advice and teaching me Antline Corners because I am a caveman sometimes.

Have a good one!

Very cool mappo. I think the key turning point for me was realising how to activate the button. Twas my second playthrough and it still took me 40 mins to see that one particular setup.

@Nobody No-One Thank you so much for going back to this one! Even though its my oldest (published) work I am very proud of it, including that timed platform move you mentioned heh

Finally came back and solved this one - really nice! It took me a bit to get started because I considered putting the cube on the button as the first major thing to do, but the way that helped me was pretty abstract since the next move involved some clever track platform timing, so I got distracted for a while by other possibilities . After that it was just a really nice sequence of clever moves elegantly enforced. Big thumbs up!
