[REC] Nemesis class missile frigate

The Nemesis at a glance is a rather unremarkable ship. Equipped with decent standard anti-ship weapons, a landing pad designed to fit a pair of Spirits and relatively lavish crew accommodations, it makes for a good frigate in it's own right. What sets it apart from the rest, and what earned it it's name, are the four state-of-the-art VLS tubes in the forward section of the ship. Using these tubes and the lock system aboard the ship, the Nemesis can launch LIDAR guided missiles towards any target from outside firing range of any standard anti-ship weapon.

Combining the characteristics of a well-designed frigate and it's VLS tubes, the Nemesis serves as the perfect ship for numerous missions otherwise requiring large fighter support or a larger ship. Republic Navy command as seen too it that numerous Nemesis's are assigned to commerce raiding and search-and-destroy missions, in an effort to keep choking LKFs supply line. So far, the results are nothing short of impressive, with the ships simply having to jump in, lock thier target, fire, and jump away to safety, letting the missiles do the rest.
