Update 12/12/2025 I am currently unable to work on the Map and have not heard from Sea Sides in a bit. However in a month or two I will be trying to contact them to continue work on this map with them, or at least clean it up & bring it to a functioning state myself if need be, we apologize for the delay and issues!

Now with that out of the way;


Welcome To Rurik!
A Picturesque Arctic island located in the Bering Sea. For its entire existence as a small independent republic, it has been wedged between the Superpowers of Russia and the United States. Its unique location means you will find both Russian and American loot in the island’s many military facilities.

This Map took quite a while to make so I yall get some enjoyment out of it. I fully intend on updating this map for a while with New NPC quests, new areas and changes to progression. Some empty bunkers have been dotted around the map in case anyone wants to fortify them as a base.

There are plenty of secrets hidden in the map too, If you manage to find the Ship stuck in the ice let me know and I’ll give you a cookie.

Special Thanks to "Literally Satan" for fixing my annoying Arid problem

Make sure you uninstall Arid if you are going to download Arid Minus, they are not compatible

(I fixed the NPC bug yay)

Common Questions

Why can't I refill the Arid Mags?
You Probably have the original arid and not Arid Minus, or you have both at the same time, Arid Crafting should be fine for everyone else tho.

How do I get into those blocked-off rooms?
You need to craft a Rescue Saw, You can find all the parts in construction areas and you bring them to Asa at the safezone and she will craft it for you or you can jsut craft them yourself now.

I keep dying at the deadzones even with a gasmask, are they broken?
T.I.D.O Station and Hudson Chemicals are Super-Deadzones, you need a full suit of Bio-hazard or Polaris PMC gear if you want to access them.

How do I get filters
You craft them the same way you craft them in Polaris, With 2 Mechanical Lotus, Some Rope and Some Cans

The saw isn't allowing me to cut planks or metal scraps aren't able to repair items
Currently there is a lot of inconsistencies in the map. although I(Literally Satan) will be making a mod to patch all these issues & some(Removing unneeded items, etc.)

Can we support Arid Reborn addons?

Sadly, life has at least ran from me alone, and I have personally not heard from Sea Sides in a bit. However, I should hopefully getting more stable housing by around January or February. And at that time I will be messaging Sea Sides about either getting their help on a patch or I will work on the map myself, clean it up, get an ID list started at the very least, and attempt to continue working on this to at least get it too a functional state. I do apologies for all the issues!

i beg for the update adding like merchant to sell tools like arid hammer and saw and buak hacksaw or even some coal ores would be sexy and adding big man lockers dam man i am really beg these things would be so nice and helpfull
