Then you throw in King of the Mountain and you have a character with as much going on as, say, Delta, who can easily secure a lead and then transform into a floaty, very safe projectile zoner. Or you can just ignore the Toriel aspect entirely, because it's very easy to play defensive when you have as much range as Asgore does, especially when you throw in the Moral Virtue parry that counters PROJECTILES.
There isn't really any need for this to be a duo character in the first place, they don't play off of each other in any interesting way other than the power up aspect, which honestly goes even further into imbalanced territory.
