South-Russian Brick Houses Pack [RICO]

A small collection of 8 brick houses, based on and inspired by modern South-Russian rural/suburban architecture. (Primarily Krasnodarskiy Kray)

Made by request, as there is very little Russian houses on the workshop.
The houses are no bigger than 3x3 tiles, they can be re-arranged after placement using Move-it.
In order to use the houses without issue, please use the ploppable RICO revisited mod. Without it, the houses will be unique buildings with no function. If the houses are still locked behind game progression, use game anarchy mod.
With this pack I aimed to provide maximum freedom regarding a large-scale use of these lets say in a village or suburban district. Therefore you can use any workshop asset you have in order to build the atmosphere/culture of your city that you want (examples shown in the image gallery). The houses include some vanilla props, which can be substituted/removed using the BOB mod.

The pack includes 4 small, 2 medium and 2 large private homes. Most houses have a colorable roof (so you can make it that typical vibrant red/green.blue Russian roof). Do this using the Repaint mod.

Such houses are often built in administrative Cossack units called "Stanitsa", unique to only 11 regions of Russia. Stanitsas are made up of one or more Khutors or settlements, and are consequently often bigger than a village, but smaller than a large town or city. Stanistas are usually built on river banks and are mostly made up of private sector housing. Its common for a Stanitsa to have its own little culture and history, which the inhabitants are proud of.
A Stanitsa can be identified by its name ending in "aya" (e.g. Dinskaya, Kanevskaya, Leningradskaya)

Wood on a mass scale is hard to come by in the Kuban' steppes, when the region was domesticated in the late 18th century, wood was so scarce people had to use straw to cook and heat their homes. Wood, while being durable is also prone to fast changing southern climates, where it can be humid during the autumn, wet during winter and dry during summer, which makes it crack and be vulnerable to parasites. To this day, it can be very expensive to build a wooden house, in order to transport quality wood from the north and then treat it with anti-insect/aging material. Why go through all this when you can build a house just as durable using bricks/concrete?
This is just a rule of thumb, as you can still find wooden houses, and the use of bricks is a relatively modern trend, as before most people lived in mudbrick houses.
