Speedrunner Link 2

Having defeated the King of Suave, Speedrunner Link is back to wreak havoc in Rivals of Aether!

This version of Link is a reworked/updated version of my old Speedrunner Link mod from 2020, sporting cleaner animations and a fresh moveset utilising mechanics and items from Tears of the Kingdom.

NSpecial: Ruby toss
Link throws a ruby which explodes upon impact with an opponent or the ground. The throw speed and angle can be altered by holding a direction during the throw.

FSpecial: Shield surf
Link jumps forward and surfs on his shield. The move will bounce off opponents and can be jump canceled after a certain period of time or on hit.

USpecial: Zonai wing
Link deploys a Zonai wing below himself and rides it. The wing acts as a platform, and will accelerate forwards and downwards as it moves.

Dspecial: Recall
Link smashes a secret stone below himself, activating Recall on the closest item to Link. Recalled items will rewind their position for a period of time. If used in the air, the secret stone becomes a projectile, spiking opponents who get hit by it.

Fuse: While charging FStrong or FTilt, certain projectiles or items deployed by Link will be attracted to Link's trident/shield, Fusing to the respective object if it gets close enough to Link. A trident or shield with a Fused item attached will exhibit different properties, but each item has a limited number of uses before it will break.

Ascend: Performing UStrong while standing underneath a platform will cause Link to ascend through the platform, regardless of platform height.

Credit to TerminalMontage for the character design and moveset inspiration, especially their Tears of the Kingdom animated speedrun video, of which inspired me to remake my old Speedrunner Link mod.
