Vanilla | Subgrids | Survival Capable

OVERVIEW:
The QBR Turret Platform is a semi-automated defense platform for planet-side protection (can be controlled by Ai, by combat engineers, or both). Utilizing the ‘XBM21’ railgun turret for the primary weapon, the QBR Platform is best utilized against larger targets where it can pierce the armor and take out embedded systems. However, this does not mean the QBR is susceptible to smaller craft, as it is armed with 8 gatling guns for fast tracking and consistent damage output. While not required to be connected to a base's energy grid, the QBR Platform does need routine check-ins to make sure the base has proper power levels in both the reactors and batteries; as well as for any repairs needed.

No mods. If it isnt working double check you have enough power, make sure rotor and hinges are not locked, and make sure you haven't sunken the grid too far in the ground. If you are not using the scrip make sure the secondary hinge is set to no torque. After that.. it has worked fine for me with no issues and I can't help you.

Great work! Turret control isn't working. May be a paste issue when I was testing. Or maybe I've not enable a certain mod. What mods does it need?

Its not gonna be *that* good in survival, just fyi. But i might be able to get the RG turret disassembled and link it in the required item section. I'll look into it.

is it possible you can separate the turret from the base? am having issues with my projectors making these bases also love the whole design of this

I will still be force to replace the CTC with the modded elite version for the rail since the vanilla one ( railgun range are 2500 M and CTC ai range are if I remember well 1500 or 2000 M ) while modded ones are ( railgun 5000 M, ECT goes up to 7000 M).

Yep. ‘TCES’ does not effect the firing of the weapon, just makes it a more QOL experience in my opinion.

Oh I see! If it only effect is the mobility of the the turret and not the firing then it shouldn’t impact the weapon.. thank for the info.

The script is simply to improve the turret functionality as it allows the use of 2 hinges for the CTC, as well as to give it "return to center." As such 'TCES' isn't truly required, just heavily recommended.

Question here I only use weaponcore type weaponry and also the elite turret controlllers mod too. There a good chance that the script won’t be as good due to it being set for vanilla weapon… so I’m just wondering what the script removal will do to the overall design??
