描述
The ES Lisboa Mk III deviates from its former interceptor design, now being an avoider/orbiter hybrid. While forward speed remains ample, the Mk III expands the engine rack to become more nimble and maneuverable to bring its 8 low damage but accurate Heavy Blasters into position where it hurts. While the 4 large shields and 20 PD-guns form a relatively strong defense, the Mk III's main way of mitigating damage is by avoiding it via its repartoire of maneuvers. It is able to act as a standalone warship, though excels as a flanking escort for larger ships than itself.

Speed: fwd - 101m/s (boost 108), strafe - 80m/s, bwd - 69m/s (why do people say nice?)
Crew: 140 souls
Cost: ~€881.000,-

Unfortunately putting anything on this version that isn't already there will probably just significantly decrease its effectiveness, as this version is very compact and specialized and relies a lot on speed to stay alive and bring the low dmg blasters to the right spot. It's much better to play with one (or several) dedicated combat ship and one dedicated salvage/mining ship. Storage only slows you down in combat and increases the surface area you have to defend. Same goes on anything else you might want to put on this. If you want other weapons for their range or whatever else, it's better to make a second ship focused on that specific weapon and role.

The Mk II was my first upgrade from the starter ship that I just kept slapping more things onto, so I'm excited to try this one. I will probably try and tweak it for a bit of storage, its too hard to play with none at all as a loot goblin kind of player stuck in their ways.

Glad to hear and thanks, I appreciate it. Though not "all" my ships are great. Especially some of the older ones are kinda sub-par at this point and I'll have to continue updating them.

Just took this out for a spin after finally giving in and doing a two ship system. All your ships are so well done and you can see the work was put into them. This thing is fast and can take a good bit of damage so far. In our coop game we are on our 4th System so not a starter ship. Gotta get used to no storage and using the supply ship for it. Thanks for providing these to help all of us!
