Not sure why it would do that.
I have double checked the file and all the sounds work fine on my end.
A trick that you could try would be to go to your insurgency workshop folder
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\insurgency2\insurgency\custom\workshop
Find the sound mod VPK and place it in the customs folder.
This would manually load the mod, as it could be a workshop thing (?)
I hope you can find a solution to your problem.
This is strange...
If you could, copy n paste any red text the console puts out when you reload, (If there is any at all).
I'm sorry for the inconvience.
This sound mod only replaces the AK, I just put AK47/AKM because I wasn't sure which one it was at the time.
If you end up getting an error in red text from your console, it is most likely you forgot to restart your sound cache when you joined the server.
In simple terms, you need to type snd_restart when you join a server for the first time.
This should fix the problem, but if it continues, inform me.
