This is still public because I'm just proud of the image. Somehow it made it back to the most popular list but I can tell ya, in a post-carrier environment, at least when I last played, you don't want to use a BB.

Not up to date for the Carriers update

The same kitkat you know and love, updated for the OSP Rebalance update. Now even more offensive due to the low frequency that I run into torpcellos these days.

This is a less and less a gunship as time goes on tbh. Consider it an extremely aggressive missile ship with 450mm sidearms, but none the less. Keep it at 9km range, establish the threats, find a winning fight, front towards enemy and then close and dominate it. etc etc. Usual brawling battleship stuff. Fielded as a lone ship packed with offensive options, the importance of positioning, movement, and manual soft-kill matters more than ever.

Filled with DC, reinforced components, a speedy drive package, and a wall of at least DT40 in the bow. Hard-kill point defence is accounted for with only two defenders, so even regular Mattock mines should be given due care. Soft-kill systems will have you covered against missile threats, but need to be manually employed. Use chaff in bursts, deploy Active Decoys as required, and manage the Interruption jammer (it takes all of the power from the buff modules, turn the interrupt off when not in use).



There's more than a few different missiles here, so I'll break them down. The name format follows a common pattern:
[name] [side] [cruise/direct range] + [stage range]

S2:
Siren
A softkill anti-missile missile containing a SSJ to attract enemy HOJ seekers. Used by prioritising a missile threat (Hotkey 'Z'). Does not fire automatically. Otherwise known as a Killjoy.

S2H:
Pinecone 10+2.5
Hot-launched CMD low damage corkscrew missile to penetrate defended light targets.

S3:
Anvil 3.6
Cold-launched ACT[CMD] high damage, low maneuverability torpedo.

Anvil 5
Cold-launched ACT[WAKE] high damage, improved range and maneuverability torpedo.

Ninja L 2, Ninja R 2
Hot-launched CMD moderate damage, high maneuverability corkscrew torpedo from the left or right CLS respectively. If you're not pressed against a rock, set up a mixed salvo including one from each side.

Rook 8
Hot-launched CMD low damage torpedo intended as primary defence against undefended light targets.

S3H
Lance L 11.8+3, Lance R 11.8+3
Hot-launched hardened skin HEKP CMD/EO cruise capable missile intended to be deployed against limited PD individually or in pairs to rapidly end fights. Launched from the left or right CLS respectively. Will survive 20mm, flak, or a single Grazer but not Auroras.



I saved over the .psd for the title image so now it'll never be up to date again :(
