- deleted buildings still cause overlap with new buildings
- new buildings sometimes have weird texture with one side completely open
- buildings created using map editor get converted to rubble without our control
- buggy features, like, cant create wreck, fast clicking shifts the whole screen to different area
- some objects created using map editor do not appear in game (e.g. adverts) some of them appear but not all of them, entrance for a building does not get attached properly, its always diagonal to the walls
I don't know how many people know this info but I have modded several maps extensively and figure the following out.
When modding building like in step 3, the special POI is very useful, it changes what the building give in loot from random to a specific building type like guns, food, fuel, etc.
The tags section is also very useful it gives further types of loot from the building I have made a small list of the tags I have ran across listed below.
amenity theatre yes spelled this way
clinic
fuel
restaurant
pharmacy
car_wash
fast_food
school
bar
building warehouse
hospital
retail
garage
university
shed
shop books
fuel
hardware
doityourself
bakery
car
wholesale
car_repair
Each one of the tags should be entered as listed to make them work, when you add a tag most of them (after being added to a building) should be listed 2x (theatre being the odd one I have noticed).
There are differences in the building descriptions; some buildings have a height parameter and others don't :/ I have the impression that increasing the height doesn't always translate into available space.
Setting biomes and their properties is unclear...
Best regards.
