Better God Mode

描述
You can enable this in console by setting "Better_God_Mode" to 1 or anything above.



Garry's Mod has a reasonably good god mode, however it does not completely prevent you from dying, which this addon aims to do! This is basically a more advanced god mode.



This uses PlayersShouldTakeDamage, EntityTakeDamage, and GetFallDamage hooks to prevent damage.

This overrides Kill() and KillSilent() to prevent death. (Can be changed in console with: Better_God_Mode_Block_Kill and Better_God_Mode_Block_KillSilent)

This can also block player suicide if you set Better_God_Mode_Deny_Suicide to 1 or anything above. (Will use hook: CanPlayerSuicide)

You can set Better_God_Mode_Admin_Only to 1 or anything above to make sure only admins can have better god Mode.

I think those are great ideas, but in order to keep it working similarly to the original Garry's Mod "God Mode" function, I have decided to only block damage! :steamthumbsup::steamsad:

Perhaps I will make settings for this in the future however! :steamthumbsup::steamhappy:

is there a way you can also make it so that it makes you're speed always default and the screen never edited like some mods like virus or tear gasses make me really slow and blind so if you could fix that that would be great

Very Good i always use it when roleplaying as SCP-343 its very well made very strong Godmode protects me against nukes and death it self erased concept of death for me Very Good :steamthumbsup:
