"A place to store a few books" is what Sir Bingelkraut asked for when he came to the small town where he had found his new home. As a philosopher and patron of the magical arts he had acquired an extensive collection of writings and mysterious ... things. So he ended up buying the town's abandoned library which seemed to have just enough space to accommodate his collection. The town's folk watched suspiciously as boxes of books as well as strangely shaped, sealed crates were carried into the old building. Whispers of misstrust lingered, eyes were narrowed. People would not put their suspicions into words since Sir Bingelkraut had paid very well but nobody would go near the old library anymore.
Years later, after the Bingelkraut School was founded and soon overrun by witch hunters, Sir Bingelkraut offered his private archives as a refuge for the magic students. Now the witch hunters are already close by and about to discover the secret refuge ...
