Endless?

Can definitely see what you were going for, but ultimately the large scope is more a detriment than an enhancer. There's a ton of open space that you just have to bunnyhop through. Also way too dark - yes, the player has a flashlight, but imo it shouldn't be a necessity outside of specific, preferably indoor areas.
The scope does allow for a wide range of approaches, I like that. You can create your own route through the map and find some neat items in far-out spots. It does make for an unbalanced combat experience, as my instincts let me immediately to that church where I was left to fight off an army of Cultists with merely a pistol at my disposal. Generally, even if the player has aquired most, if not all, of the arsenal, simply stuffing a room full of enemies never really provides satisfying gameplay. Usually, the best strategy at that point is to stay at the doorway and shoot through that small opening, which is not particularly exciting.
