Finally, a good looking Military Sniper.

What's this? A weapon mod? From me? What is this, 2021? That's right, I've got my own little piece of the L4D1 Style Animation pie to give you all! Except not really, I didn't make this. This is my friend Nerdie's animation work. They made me a version of their Military Sniper mod that doesn't use the vanilla model, because I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ despise that model.

They gave me permission to upload my version if I wanted, and I figured why not, might as well have the two versions available.

Screenshots and video show the rest. Enjoy!
Sounds used in video

There's a known bug with reachout (item and revive) where it doesn't play correctly. Nerdie is working on that!

This version is also missing the mag lock sound event. This was intentional as for some ungodly reason if I used modded sounds, no matter what it would play twice, even if the modded sound was ONLY a sound file and worked fine on other mods with a mag lock. Because of this Nerdie made this one not have it.

that was an update nerdie did on their own, and is unlikely to happen with this mod, unless nerdie decides to go back and update this like they did with the m249
im pretty much completely retired from l4d2 modding now so it's entirely up to them whether or not they do that

ok, also, i was wondering if you maybe could use nerdie real beta military sniper anims to fix the helping hand issue this one has, almost like you guys did with the m249, just saying.

What is that version of the 1911 in the video? The one from nerdie doesn't have tritium/night sights.

@Blindtwig tested both your G3 Sniper mod and M249 SAW mod for the M60 and neither of them appear correctly for me :v
One then don't conflict with any other mod I have for those two weapons and second when I do turn off said other weapon mods for them they just appear as their base vanilla versions and not the ones you created

not sure why that'd happen, other than a mod conflict, make sure you don't have any other mods that effect the military sniper

Ok now i found out that the mod doesn't appear for me at all because it doesn't show up correctly :v
