Wrought, The Wind's Wrath!

A fast, floaty, all rounder with an emphasis on being in your face to deal high octane combos as well as being able to pressure from afar with consistent and deadly setups. With his tornado to increase his speed and setups, you will be capable of keeping the enemy on their toes for the whole match.

Having been created, not born, made from the very clay of the earth around him, he is a very strange being. Having awoken from a long slumber not knowing at all of his past, he was taken in by a monastery in the mountains near to the Air Armadas base of operations. There he learned to control the wind, and learned that he is not of a natural disposition but artificial, not “real,” just a mere golem powered by a magic gem embedded in his arm. Not many years later after his adoption into the monastery it was attacked while he was away unable to defend it, only coming back to find his loved ones and home in rubble. Now he seeks not only answers of who he is and was, but also who wronged him. His only purpose now is one thing and one things only: bringing wrath to those who destroyed his home.

SPECIALS:

WHIRLWIND NADO (N-Special):

This move is a trap that when casted, will stay until run into by the opponent, or until a new one is casted by Wrought.

When the opponent is hit by this move, they get flung upward a fixed distance no matter the percent, guaranteeing a follow up for Wrought if the player is ready to capitalize. This move is guaranteed to confirm off of jab 2, and will be easy to confirm off of other moves as well. Even leaving it out for stage pressure is a viable strategy!

If Wrought gets close enough to the Whirlwind Nado, he will get:
Increased walk speed and acceleration.

Increased dash speed and initial dash speed.

Increased max air speed.

A third jump in the air if close enough to the Nado.

The ability to press dair and “bounce” off the nado for a mixup.

And the ability to throw Archaic Construct (D-Special) at the nado to cause an exploding projectile.

SUPERDASH (F-Special):

Wrought while on the ground will crouch down then launch themselves forward in a tight arc across the stage. This move, while nice for mobility, is mainly used to extend combos off the ground and to get you able to immediately use your aerials on hit. If you hit the opponent with superdash, they will be popped up in front of you allowing you to hit some aerials to extend combos.

The aerial version of this is similar, but faster startup, better general mobility, as well as safer. This has the same properties for popping your opponent up for a follow up.

SPINNING SAW BLADE (U-Special):

Wrought launches themselves upward a short distance at a fast speed, spinning rapidly. This is your standard dragon punch, and a great way to finish combos off the top.

ARCHAIC CONSTRUCT (D-Special):

A command grab projectile that is used as either a way to finish out combos or as a gotcha tool. It is a potent kill option and is great for giving wrought some mid-midlong pressure.

Archaic construct can be used in conjunction with whirling nado, making the projectile go longer and then explode at the end instead of grabbing the opponent.

This requires setup however.

This move is committal and not something to throw out in disadvantage, only when u know its going to hit or you are safe after using it.

AERIALS:

Nair: A spinning multihit move that stalls your falling momentum. Good for assisting high recoveries.

Fair: A forward kick that kills at high percentages and can carry opponents offstage quite easily.

Bair: A committal tail swipe with a “tipper/sweet spot” at the very end of the tail. Sour spot can in certain situations carry the opponent, but most of the time it's used to kill.

Dair: A fast dive kick that keeps momentum when finished, and if done right on the platform can cancel the animation leading into an aerial off plat. Dair can be done multiple times in a row if the opponent DI’s wrong. Can be used on the nado to do a “bounce” mixup.

Uair: A fast upward tail swipe that can be hitfalled quite easily, leading into strong potent upwards combos.

TILTS:

Jab: 1st hit pops the opponent up slightly, and can be canceled into any tilt, but usually you would want to go for dtilt afterwards to extend a combo. Jab 2 is a fixed knockback move that pushes the opponent forward, this can be canceled into tornado leading for a relatively consistent followup.

Dash Attack: A committal multihit move where wrought turns into a tornado, then at the end does a massive claw swipe. This move does immense knockback, but has a lot of “endlag” so if you miss you get punished.

Ftilt: A fast two hitting move that can be done out of jab 1. Its first hit is small and the second is quite large in comparison, and has a tipper hitbox at the end of the tail swipe. Good for poking.

Dtilt: A quick small tail swipe low to the ground, best to be done out of jab 1, but can be used in mid-close range poke scenarios thanks to the tipper hitbox on the tail. Used to extend combos with sourspot.

Utilt: A big slower move that is used to anti air. It has two hitboxes, one over the wind tunnel that's created and one on the fist. The wind tunnel hitbox sends more upwards and the fist sends more forwards. This is a potent kill option when closer to ledge and is nice to end some smaller combos with.

To address the smaller aerial sprites, yes it is a mistake and they are a bit smaller. I did plan on making them smaller, just not that small. If I ever do a DE or get a chance to redo some sprites, then itll be fixed. AS IS THOUGH, I think its fine

Is aerial sprites seem to be noticeably smaller than his ground sprites. Kind of distracting.
