Seems I was making up the thing about UK English - the list already has "color" et al.
The new update adds gamepad support, and tweaks a few minor things.
As for letter frequency I just felt that sometimes rare letters would show up far more often than they should, especially in comarison to vowels, with the queue containing something like 4 Q's, 2 V's, a W, and only 3 vowels.
As for the skins it's mostly stadium; dark letters hard to see on dark tracks and vice versa. But it's not really too big an issue. Just can be hard to tell some similar letters appart (C, D, O, etc.) when the track is moving quickly.
What was the 15 letter word? :)
1. If I do this it will double the processing required every time you hit a letter but if anyone with a slower machine can confirm that it is running fine as it is I will add in the US spellings as well. This may sound odd but early in development of this I didn't think this mod would be possible due to the original response times I was getting.
2. I hate 3 letter words. You can hardly hit three letters without making one like AAS or AAH - where's the skill in that? :P
3. The vowels are already more common than consonants. I could make it so that each individual vowel has a minimum frequency maybe?
Since part of the point is to use every letter and Qs, Vs, etc are harder to use does it not make things harder if you get less of a chance to use them at an appropriate moment?
4. Hmm, beyond my skill level I think! Is there a particular skin you are seeing a problem with this or is it on all of them?
Great mod!
Some suggestions:
1. Add US spellings if it doesn't accept them already
2. Allow 3-letter words
3. Less Q's, V's, X's, and Z's, more vowels please!
4. Maybe add a white or black outline to the letters. They can be hard to discern at times.
