Hello!
This is a mod by the developer of Drilbert, in which I use some "Forbidden Techniques" of Drilbert level design. Throughout the process of developing Drilbert, there were a few emergent properties of the game simulation that I noticed were weird, unintuitive, or felt buggy. In most cases, I tweaked the simulation to make things behave in a more expected fashion. But sometimes, I was faced with decisions where there was no good option. If I do it one way, then case A works in a nice way, but case B does something weird, if I do it the other way case B is fine, but case A is weird. When this happened, I simply made a rule for myself: this is weird, so don't use it in any levels. Other times it just wasn't worth fixing because it was both unlikely and funny.

That is what this level pack is.
It's a compendium of puzzles that can only be solved by using weird, unintuitive, largely unintended mechanics. It is not fair. It is not balanced. Its design is the antithesis of what I was going for with the base game. I don't know that it will be particularly fun to play, but it sure was fun to make.

P.S. If you just want to know what the weirdness is, here's a list of the "broken" mechanics I used in these levels:
- Diagonal bomb: If you place a bomb under a block of stone such that it will hit it in two directions, the result is... interesting (hint: the direction priority order is up, down, left, right)

- Bombing off the screen: Tiles that are pushed off the screen are destroyed. This is especially useful when you bomb something off the top of the screen, because if the object stops being pushed up (eg, because the tile being pushed has been moved offscreen and destroyed), the rest of the object will fall back down.

- Standing on a bomb while you detonate it: This is a really silly one. Since bombs explode in the four cardinal directions, you wont be hit if you are standing above and to the side of a bomb.

- Diamonds can block bombs: Diamonds can't be destroyed by bombs or megadrills. This means if you place a megadrill behind a diamond and then bomb it, you can block the bomb from hitting behind the diamond.

- You can win on the turn that you die: The logic for detecting winning has priority over detecting death. So if you win in the same turn that you die, then you win instead of dying, so you can bomb the level exit into yourself.

- Hover when collecting a diamond: Diamonds are the only multi-tile entity in a game fundamentally not designed for multi-tile entities. If you collect a diamond by moving into one of its upper two tiles, you will hover for one turn before falling down.
