Hello, Hydra. I decided to test your namesake cannon... And it could have been better by a large margin.

The thing is called the "Hydra" yet it fires only single-shot Melons and Bullets?
I wonder why the title's such a misnomer? The name "Hydra" would be meaningful for guns that shoot multiple projectiles at once, like a shotgun. Your weapon simply fires rapid-fire bullets and single-shot watermelons. I don't think that's very interesting in my opinion.

So I decided to put some thought into a plan for a redesign if you plan on ever coming back to this.

The primary and secondary should swap places, the Melons being the primary this time, and change the rapid-fire bullet attack to a red-colored laser beam that emits black or dark red particles (like the inside of a Watermelon, red with black seeds) that has to be charged up. The laser being capable of lasting for about 2.4 seconds before shutting down and overheating, it can burn off heat whilst firing by killing enemies, which will increase the laser's firing period for about 0.5 seconds per kill, the laser itself doing 7 base damage, but attacking about 8 times per second in a way that can quickly add up to sweep weak and dying targets in a fast manner.

The Watermelons should be cluster bombs capable of spreading 8 small, black seed-like bombs that explode on contact with surfaces with a red explosion. 4 Watermelons per clip, can fire whilst the laser is overheating. But they are slow, so make them bombs count.
