Survivor-Specific Perks

The best design decision of L4D as a franchise is the fact that every survivor is the same, no one has an advantage or disadvantage making the teamplay of L4D more pronounced.

This mod aims to ruin this by giving each survivor their own unique perk.

VSLIB REQUIREMENT CAN BE DISABLED IN THE SETTINGS

The perks are as follows:

Nick:
-Starts with a deagle
-Takes less damage from Friendly Fire (Default 50%) (Required VSlib)
-Alternative perk: gains temporary HP from killing specials (Default 4)

Rochelle:
-Heals to max HP with medkits
-Automatically calls out spawned specials

Coach:
-Starts with a baseball bat
-Can shove chargers

Ellis:
-Starts with wooden shotgun (with reduced ammo)
-Faster reload (Default 12%)

Bill:
-Faster fire rate with non-automatic weapons (Default 20%)

Zoey:
-Starts with dual pistols
-Faster move speed (Default 10%)

Louis:
-Starts with pipe bomb
-Gains extra HP from pills (Default 15)
-Faster reload with rifles (Default 15%)

Francis:
-Damage resistance from all sources (Default 10%) (Required VSlib)
-Alternative perk: has infinite shoves

You can modify most of the perks in the settings located in ems/survivorperks/settings.cfg

Known Issues:
-Perks that modify the reload speed will have buggy animations
-Zoey's movement speed perk applies to all movement, including jumping
-Nick’s friendly fire resist makes shotguns deal 0 damage to him even up close on lower difficulties
-Changing survivor character mid-game breaks player-related perks like Zoey's movement speed and Ro's max HP
-Reload speed modifiers don't work on shotguns
-The use alternative perk settings in the config dont automatically update the cfg file if VSlib is not used
