JNR KoKi 1000 container wagon

The KoKi 1000 is a container wagon of JNR for marine containers introduced in 1968, capable of carrying ISO standard 20ft and 40ft containers, etc. It has a large buffer at the coupling. JNR's marine container transport service temporarily ceased in 1978, and the cars were scrapped by 1987, but the bodies were reused by JR Freight and Meitetsu.

In addition to the actual JNR specifications, there are also fictitious specifications that imagine that ocean container transport was continued and transferred to JR Freight. In addition to types similar to those of the JNR era, those that were blue in color and capable of carrying tank containers (based on the Chiki 1000, a reused Koki 1000) had their maximum speed increased to 95 km/h.
