Combine Soldiers: Prime (Replacement)

This replaces the Combine soldiers with new textures I decided to create. They were slightly inspired by Tyler Mickvicker's Combine soldier concept art for the Let’s Talk About Neon Prime - Valves Next Game video. These designs were also supposed to be almost patrol units, or what I would do for adding new soldier variants into a new Half-Life game like Neon Prime possibly is.

New models and skins for all the Combine soldiers, with new kevlar and other suit material textures, and a new hexagonal grid lens design.

Valve
Owns the Half-Life and thus owns the models included in this mod.

jQueary
Ported and improved the Half-Life: Alyx Combine soldier model found inside the game included in [Half Life: Alyx] Vanilla Combine Soldiers (Ragdoll).

MaiYass
Tweaked the textures of the original and uploaded it as HL2 Legacy HL:A Soldiers[gamebanana.com].

Whynotll83
Edited the original jQueary model to make a Zombine version.

Uploaded MaiYass's addon to the workshop as this.

Pyrotion
Edited the textures of the HL2 Legacy HL:A Combine Soldiers [Replacement] addon and Half-Life: Alyx Styled Zombine Replacement mod to make the new ones.

This addon might override textures for HL2 Legacy HL:A Combine Soldiers [Replacement] on the workshop or vice versa. Also, I sadly have lost some of my files for this mod, so I can't help many people.

Both methods

• Download this addon.
  
• Browse local files on Garry's Mod.
  
• Find the search bar in your folder explorer and search for prime_soldiers.gma.
  
• Make sure to copy this file to wherever you want for now.
  
• Now repeat steps two and three but instead of searching prime_soldiers.gma search up gmad.exe.
  
• Once you have found gmad.exe, drag your file over to it and wait for it to create a folder with the same name.

For Half-Life 2 and games like it

• Now, copy the folder for later.
  
• Finally, for normal Half-Life 2 (or similar games); browse the local files and select the folder hl2 or whatever the game's name is called in the files and make a new folder called custom.
  
• Now, paste that folder that you saved into your custom folder; and you're done.

For Half-Life 2 mods that don't support the custom folder

• For Half-Life 2 mods that the first method didn't work for, copy the materials and models from the folder that came from gmad.exe.
  
• Then, go to the game's files and go to hl2 or whatever the main game's files are called and paste those folders.
