The Mark II upgrade elevates the ES Vienna from the cruiser class to the first of EuroSpace Industries' battleships. Although the Ion Kite is somewhat lightly armed for its new class, it remains relatively fast forwards as well as backwards, aided by the addition of a tractor beam to keep the enemy at optimal range. It features 16 Ion Beams feeding into 8 aiming outlet-prisms. Typical for EuroSpace's Ion Kites, the prism-batteries are protected by an exceptionally strong shield-neck with 4 large shields per side and 6 shields in the front, for a total of 7 shields over the fragile weapon (counting one from the wings). Additionally a total of 32 point-defense guns sit on its wings. As anti-shield measures the Vienna attacks with repeated salvos of 6 EMP-missiles. Its features allow it to kite as well as orbit to defeat enemies far larger than itself.
