Medieval Kingdoms 1212 AD Lance FIRST for Lance/Bow cavalries(+ Fools! protect with your shield!)

This mod let lancers with bows to use their bows ONLY when they shoot. They basically wield lances as their main weapons. I believe this is more historically accurate.(As carrying a lance on rider's back is much more inconvenient than holding a bow in its bag)

Also, when knights are shot by arrows, they just raise shields, lance on their right hand, without drawing swords.

Some units might not work especially ones in the Seljuk roaster. To solve this, I have to edit 'land_units_tables' which greatly reduces compatibility.


* Update 2024.12.28.

1. Now, units with composite bow don't carry their bows on their back. Because archers didn't carried composite bow on their back. They carried them in bow cases which we can find in many units.

2. But Crossbowmen, Longbowmen, Handgunners etc. still carry their weapon on their back.

3. When knights are shot by arrows, they just raise shields, lance on their right hand, without drawing swords.

4. Deleted Keshig fix because of Mongol revamp.
