NOTE: SINCE MW BASE'S RECENT UPDATES THIS ADDON NO LONGER WORKS.


this addon intentionally changes the mw swep reverb sounds into much more realistic ones for some people's personal preference.

but this may only change some sounds for some of the weapons, so not all of them are changed unfortunately. so there is no way i could be able to change all of them unless if there's any files for some of those weapons.

includes:
  • "realistic" reverb sounds, such as outdoors and indoors.
  • sounds that are kinda more accurate to mw2019.
  • yeah, that's pretty much it. i suck at making good descriptions.

so yeah, that's basically pretty much it. have fun, i guess.

just discovered this today, truly a QoL addon for MWB, the sfx there sucks so much balls

I am going to try this mod. Funny thing is people have to add features to the modern warfare base which were there when the mod was released initially. Then for some reason the sounds were changed. Its not just about the sounds. There were some features which were working perfectly fine but were later removed or changed. Never going to understand the need that the modders feel for changing things that work great.
Still love the MW base though.

Yup. Sounds cut off. Still preferable to the garbage sfx in the original though.
