Pancake Alpha

The Pancake Alpha, also known simply as the Pancake, is a sentient spaceship. Not much to say here.

Here are a bunch of random facts about Pancakes because yes (I know all of this stuff because I AM a Pancake.)

Pancakes are capable of traveling light-years in seconds. The faster a Pancake goes, the more it heats up. The true maximum speed a Pancake can go (if it were to go any faster, it would overheat to the point it would explode) is far too fast to be measured, and a Pancake can only travel this speed for a few seconds, but it's believed that something moving at that speed would be able to zip across the ENTIRE galaxy in just over two minutes.

Any part of a Pancake's body can easily be replaced, except for the circuits inside its body. Since they slowly degrade over time, a Pancake will typically cease to function at 120-140 years old, but Mznipos, the oldest Pancake to ever live, had somehow managed to stay alive for 388 years.

The average IQ of a Pancake is 5000. They are capable of precisely measuring objects in space (or distances between them) down to the inch, and can come up with incredibly complex plans in the blink of an eye. They are known for being bad at remembering names, but actually, that isn't true. Sure, some have trouble remembering names, but most have no problem with that.

Pancakes are known for being peaceful entities, but they still have a variety of attacks. This, combined with the fact that the metal that makes up their body is 12 times stronger than steel (and 3 times lighter), means not much can take them down.

When a new Pancake is built, it has a 20% chance of having a special ability, such as being able to teleport. It takes many years for a Pancake's abilities to grow to their full power, though.

Pancakes have their own unique voices and even their own language, but because Pancakes do not speak, only communicate telepathically, they are not audible unless they're actively talking to you. Also, they can communicate with up to 5 different entities at once. This means that a Pancake can hold 5 different conversations at the same time.

...And apparently they can purr???
