This mod adds the Crow (Apsaalooke) People of Montana to the game, under the leadership of World War 2 hero and war chief Joseph Medicine Crow!

The Crow - Joe Medicine Crow

Keeper Of Memories: Units may complete Tasks by performing specific actions, earning a unique promotion for each completed. Units that complete all four Tasks additionally receive the powerful Pipe Carrier promotion. (To check Tasks, see 3rd screenshot, or, in-game, mouse over a unit's Keeper Of Memories promotion.)

Cheetdaake: Cheaper and weaker than the unit it replaces, the Cheetdaake additionally has a greatly reduced "Paradrop" Range (3 vs 8 tiles), but is unlocked far earlier, at Military Science. Gains additional Combat Strength and "Paradrop" Range with each Era, and an additional +1 Paradrop Range for each Task completed.

Ashe: Replaces the Circus, and requires no resources. Whenever a unit becomes a Pipe Carrier, cities with an Ashe enter a We Love The King Day, length determined by the number of promotions the unit has. Grants +20% Production towards land Units during a WLTKD.


Includes mod support for Historical Religions, Historical Religions Complete, JFD's Cultural Diversity, and JFDLC.

A lot of the research including component names and the city list was done by Enigma, who isn't around much any more, so I couldn't give you a 100% answer there, but I do know that he got the Cheetdaake's name and at least some of the city names from the Online Crow to English Dictionary, run by the Crow Language Consortium.

Just played a game and had a lot of fun, the tasks feature is super fun and looks very naturally implemented into the game. Can I ask about the language sourcing? I've found with some of the Indigenous language used in some mods I have had a hard time back-checking where the names and spellings are coming from.
