Clearer Fonts

Straining your eyes trying to read blurry and fuzzy walls of text? This mod makes text easier to read by making the letters clearer, cleaner, and crisper. The improvement is particularly noticeable on high-resolution screens (4k, ultrawide, or even just 1440), when playing at non-native resolutions (e.g., to have a usable UI on Steam Deck), and/or when using the in-game user interface scaling.

This mod improves readability by using the truetype versions of fonts rather than a graphical (bitmap) version, which removes blurring around the edges of letters due to aliasing. It also uses bold fonts in many locations for better readability at high resolutions.

This mod was made to improve the readability of text in English and should also improve the Portuguese, German, French, and Spanish localizations (though only tested in English). Polish, Russian, Chinese, Japanese, and Korean localizations already use truetype fonts so they should be fine and are not impacted by this mod.

Mod details:
Uses truetype fonts included in game files (gfx/fonts)
Edits interface/core/fonts.gfx and so will conflict with any mod that does the same
Edits only UI files, so is achievement compatible

Known issues:
There are some text alignment issues when using truetype fonts, most notably with vertical alignment. Menu button text was especially bad, and since this wasn't an easy fix and I found it mostly readable, I left it as-is and didn't swap it to truetype. Fixing this would require editing many interface files, so I probably won't -- Paradox should. I mean, c'mon, it's 2023 and high resolution monitors are not exactly a new thing!
