描述
In Black Mesa: Blue Shift, on the 4th chapter, you come across military containers with supplies that have decals written on them, one of them being the insignia for US Army, despite the HECU being the US Marine Corps.
This simple mod fixes this inaccuracy with the Eagle, Globe, and Anchor used by the USMC.

This mod will do nothing outside of BM:BS, please don't comment about it, it will be ignored

Good mod though the HECU are weird in general. Even with Black Mesa giving them Lavs instead of Bradleys, harriers instead of f16s. corpsmen instead of medics, they still wear berets like army airborne and use apaches still instead of the supercobra or viper. Guess theyre a army airborne USMC mix unit

lol this is the same game series that has shotguns firing two shells simultaneously when you click the right button. So I understand hyper-realism isn't always it's strength.

But I think there's enough evidence in the original Opposing Force Boot Camp to comfortably say the HECU is a branch of the USMC.

Maybe a subdivision of the CBRN in real world terms. Besides the heavy influence from "Full Metal Jacket" the soldiers have "RECON" on their T-shirts. The army has an equivalent units that act as reconnaissance but as far as I'm aware only the USMC use the term RECON to describe the Units. In the US Army I think they get called "Ranger" or "Calvary Scouts". I went down a bit of a rabbit hole when I was looking to make my own MOD.

Update: I actually fixed the Failed To Decode For MP3 Problem, you have to install Microsoft Visual 2010 for the Music to work, and it also applies to On A Rail Uncut (Since i have BOTH the Loop Mod & OAR Uncut with BMCE: Revised)
