Casting aside the veil of anticipation, I am pleased to unveil the newest addition to the Austrian imperial mod project – a new early start freight automobile!


The NW (Nesselsdorfer Wagenbau-Fabriks-Gesellschaft) First truck is based on an authentic truck prototype dating back to 1898, produced by the vehicle manufacturer NW from the city of Nesselsdorf (today Kopřivnice), Moravia. Pioneering the automobile industry of its time, it remained a testament to innovation despite never advancing to mass production.

Max. speed: 20 km/h
Engine power: 9,7 KW
Load capacity: 2,5 tons
Vehicle type: cistern (water, sewage and oil products), concrete carrier, covered cargo, dry bulk (cement), dumper, fire truck, forklift, open cargo, refrigerated and waste trucks

I hope it'll serve you well :)

Honestly, forklift is probably the closest use this vehicle realistically had, simply transporting goods within the factory complex.

Unfortunately not in this one.

However, I am working on other NW vehicles which will fill some of the missing vehicle types, including the ambulance, hopefully in the near future.

Thank you! Currently, I'm working on the NW steam omnibus from 1900. The plan is to make my way through the early Tatras up to NWTL4!
