Za(c)s/Zaes

In the late 1950s, leading mineral companies increasingly began to conclude long-term leasing agreements for four-axle tank cars. Over a long period of time, these wagons were provided by both EVA and later VTG and leased by various other companies. Many of these tank cars have undergone extensive rebuilding and modernization over the years and are now known by the distinctive names Zas or Zacs.
