Kaganaias HTAA

A further refinement of technologies first trialed in the Uteodon, the Kaganaias features a mixed main armament of a single rail-assisted autocannon alongside a high velocity plasma accelerator, the first field usage of either kind. Unlike the lighter Uteodon, its weapons are specialised for the engagement of heavily armoured gunships and hovercraft and thus also pack a considerable punch against tanks, making it an effective all-around fighter only undermined by the weaker armour these bulky new systems necessitated. The enormous heat generation of the combined weaponry demanded that the turret consist almost entirely of radiators and other cooling systems, and thus is entirely unmanned, save for a rear access point used for maintenance and restocking out of combat. The crew are instead placed entirely within the hull, giving them comparatively poor situational awareness especially when placed in a hull-down position. To compensate the Kaganaias mounts an extensive communications suite, allowing allied forces to make up for its deficienies, and letting it operate as an impropmtu command tank if needed.
