The workhorse of the fleet. General-purpose escort ship. Built to fight against Strike craft, escort ships, and even stand against capital ships.
Inspired by homeworld 1's Assault frigate.

This is my personal favourite ship that I have built. The Acolyte fighters are a close second.

The Redemption Class Assault frigate is the pride of all Altiireans and one of the main stars in the Propaganda machine. the Frigate has helped win many victories for the COA, including but not limited to the Battle of Sector 147, the Battle for Cell Kirban, and the Battle against Albion. But most sit and patrol the in/out belt of Fornac.

Most navy personnel have started their career on a Redemption Assault frigate or her sister variants.
One such story was the Redemption Assault frigate "307" commanded by Commander Lyren.

Commander Lyren became a legendary name after the Battle for Cell Kirban where Lyren fought against near overwhelming odds against the ROK, with most of her crew dead and most of the fleet she was with lost to mines, Commander Lyren with Assault frigate "307" took charge of the broken fleet Stood up against the ROK fleet and accompanied base until reinforcements could arrive.
in turn, the leader of Cell Kirban was captured, and Commander Lyren was promoted to Admiral.

This ship is not made for survival or PVP, So don't act like it is Luca.
