Dardick Handguns & Carbines

The Dardick Models are magazine-fed revolvers that use triangle shaped rounds creatively named ‘trounds’, in theory they use the triangular shape to waste less space in the magazine, thus enabling a decently high-capacity revolver! They even have the ability to change between two calibres - .22 and .38 respectively! All you need to do is screw on the barrel of the desired calibre and get to firing. Don’t think the standard revolver is enough? Slap on a compatible Carbine Kit and essentially turn the chosen Dardick into a painfully 50s experimental light rifle.
Just visit your nearest gun-selling pawn shop and scavenge for Dardicks!

Why all the unnecessary modifications??
Ask David Dardick that question.

All Dardick related crafts are put in its own little crafting category excluding ammo and lootable ‘kits’. But beware, it looks hella complicated. I recommended sticking to crafting using right-click context menus on the Dardicks instead!

I made this mod as a challenge/side-project while working on a much larger project that is currently in development. I made the whole mod in roughly 24 hours! Because of this, I didn’t test it in actual gameplay too much - so I am fully open to feedback about balancing.

.38 Tround
Just SLIGHTLY higher in stats to the .38 Revolver with the ability to extend its range with the Carbine Kit!
.22 Tround
Quieter than the vanilla .38 Revolver!
Technically becomes the quietest two-handed firearm with the .22 Carbine Kit!
Lower Damage, Stopping Power and Range.

The Dardick Revolvers are technically ‘invincible’ if you craft them over and over. Will be finding a solution soon.

Unscrewing Barrels, Screwing Barrels and attaching Carbine kits currently EAT UP any and all of your loaded bullets. MAKE SURE TO UNLOAD YOUR WEAPONS BEFORE CRAFTING! I know this is a big ask if you're in a stressful situation, but do be aware! I surely was made aware after running out of .38 Tround and having to frantically switch to .22 Trounds while pursued by a horde.

I do NOT endorse the reupload/repacking of this mod. This includes the mods addition to ‘server-packs’. You may however post localisation sub-mods and develop your own compatibility patches that require this mod.
