Spider Cider, in its natural state, is a venom commonly found in various arachnid species, particularly effective at paralyzing and dispatching smaller insects, a vital tool for ensnaring prey in intricate webs. In larger quantities, it poses a similar peril to humans.
The infusion of Vitae atoms into this compound yields a remarkable transformation. It metamorphoses into a viscous, bluish-clear liquid with potent dissociative and psychedelic properties, accompanied by a momentary paralytic effect. However, the recreational use of this altered concoction is fraught with peril, chiefly because of the substantial presence of Vitae and Mors within the compound.

As a result, Spider Cider is seldom employed recreationally in this manner, as the attachment of Vitae usually requires the resources of alchemists with access to transmutation engines and substantial Vitae reserves.
