Dating back to long before the golden age of humanity.. sworn to indifference towards the petty and selfish conflicts between mortal empires; the inhabitants of this stronghold dedicate and hone themselves solely towards the eradication of evil and to being an ever burning torch in the night, warding off the encroaching darkness..

This hold serves not only as a beacon of hope against the horrors that threaten the land above but is also responsible for recently having sent an expedition to vanquish a near immortal vampiric tyrant demon overlord and her bestial army of undead and mercenary horde of cruel demi-humans; ending her violent rampage across the countryside in a blazing clash of steel and magic which lasted three days and nights.. however; will they fare the same when surrounded by enemies from below and forced into a defensive battle they're not prepared for; against a threat they're as of yet oblivious to?

The souls of these champions and their heroic tales do indeed burn brightly... brightly enough to attract the attention and desires of rival underlords looking to expand their retinue and sweep the chess board clean of both this obnoxious flame and eachother in a single decisive battle.

The large red moon hangs low, serving as an omen of what's to come... the underlords ominously materialize into this realm through cracks in the aether; bringing their own reality with them, they quickly close in, blocking any chance of escape.. who will survive this bloody night and what will be left of them?
