This is a Recreation of the Trijicon ACOG TA01 Crosshair.

It has a simulated amber tritium illumination in this crosshair. When it appears on a dark screen or on a dark place, the middle crosshair will be lit with a faint amber glow. When its seen on a bright screen, it will appear as black.

Monitor brightness settings may vary and you may need to lower black contrast (nightvision mode in monitor) to prevent this reticle to glow brighter than intended.

I believe the proper size of this reticle on a 17.3 inch screen on a 1080p resolution should be "0.4"

But it may vary on different screen and resolution sizes.

Personal Opinion:
The TA01 is considered an older reticle design before the TA31 Chevron and the Illuminated Crosshair for its BAC feature. I have found that the TA01 with the black reticle by itself works fine where illumination isn't always needed but same time also how important BAC can also be when you do need the illumination to quickly pickup the reticle with both eyes open.

From my experience, this is one of those reticles where you can land those precise hits on concealing enemies more rapidly than other precise crosshair reticles.

But it will get edged out in target acquisition speed when you compare it to the Chevron Version of the ACOG. But unlike the illuminated chevron, you will get those hits on hard to hit smaller or hidden covered targets where the chevron struggles all within similar speeds of each other.

But there is little to be said about how it functions in low light or night conditions and i have heard that TA01s tritium isnt that well light in the night. But i dont know if this is always true.
I don't know if this is because the TA01 that other people posted have dead tritium, or is the design itself.

The only resource i found where the TA01 does glow in the dark is the Delta 34's ACOG Reticle video where he showed how faint the amber glow in the dark the TA01 is and i have used this as reference to how the TA01 SHOULD GLOW in the dark according to his video.
