Ok I will try it again tomorrow and let you know if it works correctly
If it work for chariots, the file did get loaded. I didn't core the file, so it's likely other mods override the values for infantry. Try changing the mod order around, see if it help. It could also be that the reduction is too small to be noticeable, check my new before/after screenshots.
