Overview

What does this mod do ?
Better Research currently is a QOL mod to help promote items as they complete. Over time, this will expand into a feature mod where new roles and new items become available.

Check out the options for configuration options.

Working as of 1.6

What's next?
For now, this mod is a fairly small QOL mod, but over time I intend to add more features. Watch this space for what they may be.

Research Manager
- A new role that will handle the starting, and patenting of research items, so its not just for free !

- Different research items

Hey, I see it's been quite a while since you've last updated this and you still had some aspirations for the mod and the other ones on here. Im looking to mod the game, so maybe you can introduce me to a couple of things so I can try to pick up those things for you too? Let me know, I sent a friend request

This has nothing to do with the mod and is the base game. I'm unsure how much a mod can change it as work items are not very moddable.

Hey boss, is there a way to reduce patent time? I feel like the time it takes to copyright a research is so ridiculously long that it makes research infeasible. It's also very immersion breaking, even with 6 lawyers it takes several months do accomplish something that's actual a couple weeks of work (if that) for a single lawyer.

thanks for all your "better" mods, tremendous QoL stuff!! btw i dont thinkj you should be able to sell the research. it already makes good money with patenting ( for me atleast 100m+ a year just for system)
