Overhead Wire Pole Single5

A simple overhead wire pole prop I did for a layout I'm working on, because none of the official catenary poles of this style work with the single-wire track painter. Made for use in electrified yards and sidings, but works anywhere where there's only one overhead wire.

The pole snaps to the end of track pieces like the official poles, but also features a wire snapping point if you want to add your own wires with the wire tool instead of (or in addition to) using the track painters. Fully paintable, also just like the official poles.

If used on a track group with spacing of 1.08, you can easily position them to form a two-sided pole as shown in the third image. Otherwise, you'll have to manually position them that way if you want two-sided poles.


This model is based on the official catenary pole props made by Gauge. I take no credit for the original models, only for the modifications I have made to them.
