Finally got to exit, but I thought my solution was unintended. Watched bullfrog's walk through. Did the same thing that he did, so it turned out to be the intended.

ahh man. took some time off now i need to get my portal brain working again. went around and around and took a peak at bullfrog. shoot simple to overlook
