Eternal Potions

描述
All (positive) potion buffs have their timers removed.

A few options for this effect can be changed in the config.

Drink modded potions at your own risk. Debuff potions that are not correctly flagged in Main.debuff will become Eternal if not blacklisted.


Essentially, every potion's effect now acts like the Bewitching Table, and does not run out until death.

There is also an option to make them persist after death, making them truly Eternal.

Remember you can right click a buff icon to manually remove it (unless it's a broken modded debuff).

Apologies for the long wait. I have fully overhauled the system this mod uses for determining and remembering acceptable buffs - its functionality should be exactly the same, but all visual and internal bugs were resolved. Have fun!

Very interesting. Yes, the source code is available by extracting the mod. I haven't looked through this for a while but I am using object collections to keep track of buffs so there could be redundant checks I didn't account for. Thank you for the information

Is the source code for this available? I have reason to believe this mod is causing an extreme amount of lag after it's been active for a few hours with a large number of permanent buffs. This is particularly noticeable in multiplayer. After 4 hours of just standing around doing nothing, one thread ends up spending 99% of its time on EternalBuff.BuffTweaks.Update, largely preventing the server from processing anything else. I've never used that mod before, but all modded buffs should work. Worst case scenario you'll have to mess with this mod's whitelist/blacklist in the config
