The Canak is an interplanetary cargo freighter designed to pickup and dropoff free standing cargo units. While having some cargo space onboard, that is primarily for fuel and repair resources.

The CAC are not permitted armaments nor production facilities aside from H2/O2 due to possible fuel needs. This is because it is often given access to civilian space and air locations. While not beefy by any means, the redundant systems on the craft allow it to take some damage before being put out of commission.

Robust vertical lift allows the Canak to lift notably heavier loads than earlier iterations and operate easily in atmospheric environments.

While there is no lore for this craft in general, it is noteworthy to mention that the design has been in use for more than 80 years due to its popular design and reliable service. This is also one of the most common freighter types in use within Artemis today.

Extending pistons with mag plates allows the Canak to pickup a number of cargo types of varying sizes and even vehicles if needed. Ground access on the rear of the ship allows entry when needed and lateral docking for refueling and disembarking.
